Saint Wrapped was launched in March 2024 to boost awareness of student resources, ASG-funded events, and campus engagement at Mission College. The goal: build a newsletter that students actually want to read.

The Challenge & Target Audience
Many Mission College students — especially part-time and first-generation students — didn’t know what ASG was, how to get involved on campus, or where to find student resources.

The existing communication tools weren’t helping. Most newsletters were too wordy, off-brand, or easy to ignore. I set out to create a newsletter that was clean, student-centered, and worth opening.

To guide the visual direction, I focused on bold colors, high contrast, and scroll-friendly content blocks to match how students engage with digital content.

Saint Wrapped taught me that clear, simple design drives engagement. Students responded better to short, scrollable content with clear visuals and calls to action. This project showed me the impact of thoughtful design in making communication more effective and accessible.​
